Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for IT procurement, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality acquisitions across IT services, software, hardware, cloud, and telecommunications.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and cutting-edge sourcing solutions.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams to understand and meet their IT requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize processes.
• Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate procurement reporting and documentation.

Qualifications: 

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial environment, with a focus on IT procurement, including IT outsourcing, software, hardware, cloud, and/or telecommunications.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication: Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
• Global Mindset: Comfortable working in a global setup with clients in the US and other European countries.
