Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Real Estate & Services. The Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Sourcing Real Estate & Services.

The individual will have experience in working with the main suppliers in globally of Real Estate & Services.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Lead, prepare and manage challenging bidding initiatives in the areas of office fit-outs and refurbishments, building infrastructure, furniture and other real estate services
• support analysis of proposals and producing recommendations as well as managing the evaluation across cross-functional teams to determine selected supplies
• Establish and maintain strong and close relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders
• Negotiate deals to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes
• Development of purchasing strategies including control of supplier management
• Developing spend / market analysis and evaluations
• Identify ways to improve related business-as-usual process
• Collaboration with our teams in the different countries

Requirements

• Education in the real estate sector / facility management / purchasing or e.g. structural draftsman, civil engineering, architecture
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable function or e.g. as owner's representative / project manager, estimator in the construction environment or facility manager
• General understanding of Sourcing Operations, Buying processes and best practives
• Understanding of typical risks and contractual mitigation/management of Real Estate, Facility Management project
• Experience in review, negotiation and execution of contracts with vendors (including JCT and FIDIC templates)
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in (senior) stakeholder management
• Team player and high social competence
• Fluent written and spoken in German and English, other languages are an advantage
