Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Legal Sourcing. The Global lead Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Legal Sourcing.

The individual will have experience in working with the main suppliers in globally Legal Sourcing.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Manage a challenging and broad role in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing environment
• Act as a global “Primus inter Pares” for Legal Services: Bringing the way our clients source legal services to the next level.
• Driving the transformation of the Legal Services category at one of our large clients: implementing a self-service sourcing solution, driving a culture of early involvement and auctioning, increasing the strategic partnership with a law firm panel.
• Working with our digital category management solution Cirtuo to develop X-functional strategies with our suppliers and customers
• Ensuring and maintaining a close relationship with external business partners as well as establishing and maintaining the supplier network
• Independent project management for multiple client accounts in regards to procurement services
• Coordination of the commercial, operational and legal aspects with the relevant contact persons in a cross-functional team
• Development, implementation and optimization of corporate standards

Requirements

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or equal
• Deep experience in legal services procurement or having a strong commercial background in the legal services industry. Ideally in an international corporate environment.
• In-depth Know-how and profound experience in the Legal Services Industry
• Experience in negotiation and execution of contracts with vendors
• Understanding of market / technologies / processes / tools as well as contractual and legal aspects of Sourcing
• Ability to face and act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders in law firms and legal departments of large financial institutions
• Proactive, flexible and client-focused personality with excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Good analytical and conceptual skills and quick understanding of complex content, figures and interfaces
• Ability to think out of the box and willingness to contribute actively in a dynamic environment
• Very good self-organization and project management skills
• Team player with high social competence
• Fluent in English, any additional language considered a plus
