As Business Development Manager you will be working at the forefront of the company’s growth activities within the region EMEA. You will be responsible to identify and agree on new sales targets together with the top management, to create and negotiate sophisticated sales proposals in order to sell procurement services, to lead through the delivery of the services and to build relationships with clients’ stakeholders.
Your responsibilities:
- Driving revenue growth by taking the lead in the development & submission of sophisticated sales proposals
- Helping to drive the sales pipeline by preparing, leading and participating in important prospective client meetings (incl. C-level meetings)
- Leading contract negotiations efficiently and effectively
- Supporting the client onboarding process to successfully start the client service in line with the contractual obligations
- Managing and keeping track of business development/sales activities in CRM tool
- Acting as role model fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, client / quality focus and encourages individual integrity
Your profile:
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and to multi-task
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team
- Solid commercial acumen, strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and client-orientated mindset combined with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven and extremely rapidly changing environment
- Innovative and pro-active thinking to identify business opportunities and to create solutions to improve customer experience
- Team player with excellent communication skills and good aptitude to learn with a willingness to share knowledge and to learn from others
- Profound understanding of the procurement function and related activities
- University degree or long-term professional experience / industry expertise
- Fluent in English and German; French or other languages would be an advantage.
- Advanced skills in MS Office including PowerPoint and equivalent creative solution
