Introduction: Join our dynamic procurement team in the heart of Wrocław! We are seeking a passionate and analytically driven Strategic Sourcer to enhance our procurement processes in the categories of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), office supplies, and other consumables. This role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to deploy innovative technologies and generative AI solutions to optimize commercial terms and product pricing. As a global role, you will focus on major markets including the US, Germany, France, and Italy, ensuring alignment with our expansive business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO, office supplies, and other C-parts/Consumables, focusing on global markets such as the US, Germany, France, and Italy.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service levels across all regions.
  • Engage with new and existing suppliers globally to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their product needs and ensure alignment with business objectives on a global scale.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and explore new technological solutions, including generative AI, to enhance decision-making and procurement processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and continuous improvement in value delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sourcer or commercial expert within the categories of MRO, office supplies, or other relevant C-parts/Consumables.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex procurement challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost reductions and improving terms of trade.
  • Familiarity with the latest in procurement technologies and a keen interest in applying generative AI solutions.
  • Comfortable working with and understanding the nuances of various global markets, particularly in Europe and the US.
