Role Purpose 

As a sourcer at Chain IQ, you will support our clients by running quick, often competitive negotiations and contributing to the strategic aspects of supplier management. This role is ideal for young procurement talents looking to accelerate their learning journey, as well as experienced purchasing professionals seeking a dynamic, fast-paced environment that leverages digital tools and the latest AI solutions. You will work closely with senior sourcers, category experts, and cross-functional client teams, gaining exposure across industries and building capabilities that open doors to global career opportunities — including potential development paths in Singapore and other Chain IQ locations.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Sourcing & Negotiation Support 

· Run fast and efficient sourcing activities, including competitive negotiations. 

· Support the development of negotiation strategies for low-value, high-velocity purchasing needs. 

· Ensure clear documentation, clean data, and consistent professional interactions with suppliers. 

Supplier & Stakeholder Interaction 

· Collaborate with suppliers to gather information, clarify scope, and optimize outcomes. 

· Provide guidance to client stakeholders on purchasing steps, preferred suppliers, and best practices. 

Operational Excellence 

· Contribute to improving sourcing processes, workflows, and cycle times. 

· Support the adoption of digital procurement tools, AI-enabled solutions, and automation. 

· Maintain a “first time right” mindset in all sourcing activities. 

Team Collaboration & Learning 

· Work closely with senior sourcers and category managers, learning from experienced colleagues every day. 

· Share insights and contribute to a collaborative team culture across Chain IQ’s global organization. 

· Actively participate in a professional environment where continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovation are encouraged. 

Requirements: 

Expertise 

· 5+ years procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management is an advantage — but motivated young talents are also welcome. 

· Alternatively, several years of purchasing experience and interest in joining a modern, digital procurement environment. 

Skills & Competencies 

· Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with suppliers. 

· Analytical mindset and ability to interpret purchasing needs. 

· High level of accuracy and ownership in managing tasks. 

· Comfort working in a fast-paced, international environment. 

· Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Education 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 

 Category Focus  

Candidates with experience in the facility management industry or sourcing will have an advantage.
