IT Sourcing Specialist: A Catalyst for Digital Excellence

We are on the lookout for an IT Services Sourcing Specialist who will play a pivotal role in our journey towards digital procurement excellence. As the digital landscape evolves, the demand for IT services and advanced sourcing skills is at an all-time high. This opportunity is your gateway to working on transformative projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage strategic IT Services sourcing initiatives within Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on categories such as IT Outsourcing, Business Process Outsourcing, Managed IT Services, Software Licensing/Maintenance, SaaS, and more.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with the company’s strategic direction, objectives, and priorities.
• Drive the negotiation and shaping of contracts to align with business needs, identifying savings opportunities, and delivering cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers, staying informed about their offerings and the competitive landscape.
• Lead competitive bids and RFX processes using procurement platforms, ensuring a thorough evaluation and selection process.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, customizing terms to meet business requirements while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Professional Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the BPO/ITO (Business Process Outsourcing/IT Offshoring) services market, particularly within the financial sector.
• Proficient in project management, capable of developing contractual milestones and handling multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Insightful understanding of the impact of automation and AI on ITO & BPO Services.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to conclude complex, multinational negotiations.
• Expertise in building executive-level relationships and fostering strategic discussions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contract structures, including MSAs (Master Services Agreements), managed capacity, and service structures with KPIs, SLAs, and milestones.
• Proficient in constructing business cases that demonstrate savings over multiple years and locations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain focus and/or MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Services Sourcing, particularly in the specified categories.
• Proven track record of sourcing and negotiation with major IT Services and Application Development suppliers.
• Skilled in drafting and negotiating complex contracts with minimal legal support.
• Demonstrated ability to identify cost reduction opportunities and lead negotiation strategies to achieve savings.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively influence senior clients and stakeholders.
