Role Purpose

 

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver value‑added sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

You will serve as the main point of contact for internal business stakeholders, external procurement partners and third‑party providers. You will respond to enquiries within agreed resolution times and work closely with onshore teams to ensure optimal use of Operational Procurement and Client Service Desk systems and capabilities.

 

We are seeking a dynamic and client‑focused Consultant with proven experience in Procurement Operations and Client Service Desk functions.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Working with onshore teams to ensure optimal use of Operational Procurement and Client Service Desk platforms and capabilities.

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Providing first‑level support for internal stakeholders, procurement partners and external providers in line with SLAs, OLAs and KPIs, including response and resolution times.
  • Managing and documenting client requests, enquiries and resolutions through the ticketing system, aligned to the defined service catalogue.
  • Maintaining knowledge management systems and client education materials such as user guides to support efficiency and process understanding.
  • Supporting day‑to‑day operational and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) activities to ensure timely and accurate ordering and receipt of goods and services, including supplier onboarding, catalogue management, master data maintenance, helpdesk queries (voice and written), and PR/PO processing.
  • Promoting the compliant and optimised use of defined procurement processes, tools and channels through continuous improvement, end‑user education and P2P platform enhancements including data analysis, testing, training and change management.
  • Ensuring all functional KPIs, SLAs and performance objectives are achieved.
  • Maintaining an effective internal controls framework across the Chain IQ Group.

 

Requirements

 

  • Fluent English, spoken and written.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related functions.
  • Experience with procurement systems, helpdesk tools such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams including finance, legal and operations.
  • Understanding of global sourcing environments and cultural sensitivities, particularly within internal procurement contexts.
