Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our team in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in (indirect) procurement and/or professional services, with strong experience as a procurement professional or consultant. This role requires excellent change management skills and the ability to navigate diverse cultural interactions and manage challenging stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and effective utilization of procurement processes and systems within the APAC region, focusing on key countries such as China, Australia, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Champion effective communication strategies to ensure alignment and compliance with procurement processes (e.g drive roadshows).
- Generates impact and commercial value through partnering with stakeholders to support business priorities using category strategies, programs and processes.
- As a result, develop localized procurement strategies and savings initiatives that align with broader global objectives. The savings initiatives will be executed by the colleagues in the global Procurement organization, but we also expect the business partner to source.
- Manage risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, local laws and ethical standards.
- Leads change linked to digital transformation, including deployment of procurement platforms such as Apadua, Marketplace solutions, or Archlet.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, or the professional services industry.
- Strong skills in change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages in the APAC region are a plus).
- Ability to handle challenging interactions with diverse stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds.
- Willingness and ability to run sourcing events in different indirect categories – even if spend might sometimes be smaller – to support stakeholders in smaller countries.
- Strong sense of result orientation and highly structured person.
- Ability and willingness to travel from Singapore to countries such as China, India, or Australia.
