Role Purpose

As Team Leader, you are responsible for the performance, development, and strategic direction of your procurement team. While you ensure high standards across various indirect spend categories, your deep expertise in FM and Real Estate will be the cornerstone of our regional strategy. You balance senior stakeholder management with a hands on leadership style, navigating the China supplier market to deliver innovation and cost efficiency for our global clients.

What You Will Do

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sourcing Consultants, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and ownership.
• Hands on Execution: Actively engage in "on the ground" activities, showing a willingness to roll up your sleeves to resolve operational bottlenecks and support the team during critical project phases.
• Category Oversight: Provide strategic guidance across multiple indirect categories, ensuring that the primary focus on FM and Real Estate meets global benchmarks and client expectations.
• Strategic Sourcing: Lead high value sourcing projects and complex negotiations, particularly in Facility Management (FM) and related services.
• Regional Initiatives: Travel to regional hubs and client sites to lead workplace transformations, facility optimizations, and large scale supplier transitions.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior client executives in China, providing market insights and reporting on team performance.
• Supplier Governance: Oversee the regional supplier landscape, ensuring strategic partnerships are managed through rigorous KPIs, SLAs, and ESG standards.

What You Bring

• Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement, with at least 3 years in a people management or team leadership role.
• Action Oriented Mindset: Proven ability to transition from high level strategy to tactical execution; you are comfortable working alongside your team in the field.
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Facility Management and Real Estate categories is essential, complemented by a broad understanding of other indirect spend areas.
• Negotiation Power: A proven track record of managing high stakes negotiations and large scale Integrated Facility Management (IFM) contracts.
• Mobility: Based in Shanghai with a willingness to travel extensively as required to support regional team initiatives and client site projects.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable category strategies and team goals.
• Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
