It is an exciting time at Chain IQ, and our team in China is looking for a Consultant in Procurement Operations and Client Service Desk.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner.

You will be the point of contact for internal business partners, external procurement partners, and third-party providers. You will respond to queries within agreed resolution times and work with onshore functions to ensure optimal use of Operational Procurement and Client Service Desk systems and capabilities.

This role requires being stationed in Changzhou or the flexibility to travel to Changzhou or other assigned locations as needed.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Consultant to join the Procurement Operations and Client Service Desk team. The Consultant must be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience in Procurement Operations and Client Service Desk.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with onshore functions to ensure optimal use of procurement systems and capabilities
• Providing first-level support to internal and external stakeholders in line with SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs
• Managing and documenting client requests and resolutions via the ticketing system
• Maintaining knowledge management systems and client education materials
• Supporting day-to-day operational and P2P processes such as supplier onboarding, spot buy, catalogue and master data maintenance, and PR/PO processing
• Driving continuous improvement and compliance in procurement processes and platforms
• Ensuring performance objectives such as KPIs and SLAs are consistently met
• Maintaining an effective internal controls framework across Chain IQ Group

Requirements

• Fluent mandarin (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related area
• Familiarity with procurement software and helpdesk tools such as ServiceNow is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Understanding of global sourcing and cultural sensitivities, especially in internal procurement contexts
