About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Infrastructure & Data Governance Lead to establish and manage our technology and data governance setup in China. This role will ensure that our digital platforms, infrastructure, and data management practices operate in full compliance with Chinese regulations while remaining aligned with our global architecture and technology strategy.

This is a hands-on execution role focused on building and operating a compliant, secure, and scalable technology environment in China, including support for advanced digital and AI-driven platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Architecture & Infrastructure

• Define and implement the technology architecture for our China operations aligned with global platforms and systems.

• Establish and manage China-based cloud infrastructure and connectivity with global systems.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of digital platforms supporting business operations.

Data Governance & Compliance

• Translate global data governance frameworks into a China-compliant operating model.

• Implement data classification, localization, and cross-border data transfer controls.

• Ensure compliance with key Chinese regulations including Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, and PIPL.

Security & Risk Management

• Work closely with global cybersecurity teams to ensure secure infrastructure and access management.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper monitoring, logging, and data protection standards.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary China-based technology governance authority for infrastructure and data-related decisions.

• Collaborate with global infrastructure, security, and AI platform teams.

• Manage relationships with local cloud providers, technology vendors, and compliance advisors.

What We Are Looking For

• 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure, or data governance.

• Strong experience building or operating IT infrastructure and data environments in China.

• Solid understanding of Chinese data regulations (CSL, DSL, PIPL) and data localization requirements.

• Experience working in global organizations with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in complex regulatory environments.

• Fluent Mandarin and English.
