Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner.
We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused Senior Consultant to join our Technology Services Sourcing team, based in São Paulo, Brazil. The ideal candidate will have experience in the full sourcing lifecycle for IT engagements—particularly within Software, Hardware, IT Infrastructure, or Telecommunications—and a strong understanding of Brazilian market practices, supplier dynamics, and commercial contracting. Candidates with experience navigating Brazil's legal and procurement landscape are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity across categories including Software Licensing/Maintenance, SaaS, Hosted Platforms, Telecom/Networks, Data Centers, Hardware, and related Managed Services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners across Brazil and the broader Americas region.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Conduct tenders (RFPs, RFIs), manage supplier evaluations, and lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection.
- Shape deals to meet complex business needs, drafting and negotiating contracts (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, Amendments) based on client templates.
- Assess and capture savings opportunities, develop negotiation strategies, and deliver optimal commercial outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge of key suppliers, market trends, and competitive offerings in the Brazilian and global IT landscape.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Report sourcing project status and savings metrics using Chain IQ and client systems.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to share best practices and ensure process consistency.
Requirements
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential; Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; supply chain or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT sourcing with hands-on negotiation in one or more categories: Software, SaaS, Telecom, Hardware, Data Center, Managed Services.
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting experience with limited legal support.
- Experience structuring global contracts with multiple annexes, schedules, and regional considerations.
- Proven success in cost reduction, value creation, and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with the Brazilian regulatory environment, labor laws, and supplier practices in IT sourcing.
- Client-oriented mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of managing high-volume projects with competing priorities.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sourcing systems (SAP Ariba is a plus).
