Title:  Sourcing Professional Services - Senior Consultant

Role Purpose

The Senior Consultant, Professional Services is responsible for delivering strategic sourcing and category management activities across Professional Services categories, including consulting, HR, employee benefits, legal, audit, tax, training, and contingent labor. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, lead complex sourcing events, optimize supplier performance, and deliver measurable commercial value. The successful candidate will drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, innovation, and supplier excellence while supporting the achievement of client and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, shape demand, and develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and execute category strategies across Professional Services categories, including consulting, HR, legal, employee benefits, audit, tax, training, and contingent labor.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier research, benchmarking, and industry assessments to identify opportunities and support sourcing decisions.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
• Perform commercial, financial, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses to support supplier selection and business case development.
• Lead contract negotiations covering pricing, service levels, commercial terms, performance metrics, and risk mitigation measures.
• Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to drive supplier performance, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with legal, finance, risk, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with governance requirements and procurement policies.
• Develop and present sourcing recommendations, supplier evaluations, and negotiation outcomes to senior stakeholders.
• Support contract execution, supplier onboarding, and transition activities to ensure successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience sourcing Professional Services categories, including consulting, HR, legal, employee benefits, audit, tax, training, or contingent labor.
• Proven experience leading complex RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial, analytical, financial modeling, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis skills.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships across business, finance, legal, and procurement functions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and present recommendations to senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience working within global and matrix-based organizations.
• Strong supplier management, contract management, and risk management capabilities.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
