Role Purpose

 The primary purpose of the function is to deliver value-add sourcing services to Clients, in a structured, professional and consistent manner.  The scope of the role relates to the indirect spend of clients across the categories of Travel, Workplace, Banking, Logistics, Facility Management, Marketing, and Real Estate.

Responsibilities

 We are currently seeking a Sourcing Consultant to join the Market Data Services Team. The Sourcer needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with experience within Market Data Services.

Responsible for delivering sourcing initiatives covering the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle across global markets for the provision of services, the individual will be responsible for:

• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and key suppliers
• Leading assigned sourcing initiatives, which vary in terms of scope and scale from routine renewals to more strategic purchases
• Understanding business requirements and structuring deals to meet those requirements
• Negotiating deals to achieve optimal commercial terms
• Drafting contracts based on standard terms and conditions in cooperation with Legal Department
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to deliver savings for Clients and drive benefits
• Sourcing of indirect spend category Market Data Services globally
• Managing day-to-day operational processes to ensure accurate and timely ordering and receipt of services
• Providing support to key stakeholders in the sourcing lifecycle
• Optimizing all purchasing activities to ensure the best outcome in line with purchasing policies and Client requirements
• Managing and maintaining a database of contracts in the client's internal systems
• Maintaining market awareness for assigned categories, leveraging experience to contribute to sourcing area plans and opportunity assessments

Requirements

•  University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equal (bachelor’s degree)
• General understanding of Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying processes and best practice
• Minimum (5+ years) of progressive experience in indirect procurement and 2+ years in specific category of Market Data Services in an international (corporate) environment
• Experience in review, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors
• Experienced in conducting tenders (RFI, RFP, RFQ)
• Specific know-how in Market Data Services and other professional services is preferred
• Understanding of typical risks and contractual mitigation/management of such.Problem-solving, relationship management, escalation management and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation
• High attention to details
• Experience in working with market-leading sourcing tools/systems would be a plus
• Excellent English (native, C1 or equivalent) written and verbal communication skills. Any additional language considered a plus
