Job Title: Associate Consultant - Sourcing Support

Employment level (in %): Sourcing Support (100%)

Level: Associate Consultant

Purpose (short description):

Staff to provide effective sourcing support from India for US

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Key Scope:

 

i) Sourcing Support

· Proactively foster effective collaboration and ensure strong communication with key onshore. Senior Consultant (Sourcer), Sourcing Managers & client stakeholders in and across the region(s) to deliver defined activities.

· Execute and manage tasks in Ariba on behalf of Senior consultant for completion.

· Schedule and manage meetings with internal and external stakeholders for Senior consultant.

· Act as key contact person for Sourcing Support on allocated categories and sourcing initiatives.

ii) Sourcing Compliance

· Perform compliance & risk check for suppliers engaged.

· Draft and register NDAs for RFx, establish appropriate entries in Ariba sourcing project.

· Prepare sourcing documentation in line with instructions and advice from Senior Consultant.

· Assist Senior Consultants in executing RFx in-line with client guidelines.

iii) Management of Sourcing Initiatives

· Assist in execution of tactical and strategic sourcing projects in line with agreed timelines and quality.

· Assist in NDA, Risk checks & Contract template drafting in-line with client guidelines.

· Assist Senior Consultant in negotiation Preparation and obtaining final approvals in systems.

· Obtain signature and publish contracts in Ariba post signature and compliance checks.

· Close the Sourcing project and archive contracts as required.

· In collaboration with Operations, drive adoption of P2P through sourcing initiative and ongoing contract management.

· Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.

· Ensure a high-level of ethics in supplier and / or client engagements.

 

Requirements:

i) Qualification

· University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management and/or Legal) or industry experience equivalent.

· Strong oral and written English (mandatory)

 

ii) Experience

· A minimum of 1-5 years’ experience, ideally in an international environment.

· Prior hands-on working experience on Ariba/similar e-sourcing tools.

· Prior experience working in sourcing support – desired.

· Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people. to make the appropriate decisions for the client(s) and resolve conflicts effectively.

· Ability to work as part of a cross functional team.

· Good competent in procurement and contract knowledge with a strong ability to converse, negotiate with suppliers / clients and review contracts in English.

· Project management experience - desired.

· Experienced in preparing tenders (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and related documents – desired.

· Commodity sourcing support experience in one or more of the following categories is highly. advantageous:

- IT (Hardware, Software, Telecommunication, Data Centre)

- Professional Services

- Facility Management, Corporate Services, Real Estate, Logistics

- Marketing

- HR (Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll, Training)

- Outsourcing & Offshoring (ITO, BPO, KPO)

- Travel (Airlines, Hotels, Serviced Apartments, Travel Management Companies)

- Banking services (Market Data, Exchanges)

iii) Desirable qualities
