Purpose (short description):

Leading the Global Chain IQ resource planning and management

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:        

Managerial:

  • Manages the implementation of resource planning and resource management in SAP in cooperation with Group CFO / HR and Controlling
  • Recommends and supports service delivery managers in staffing client engagements
  • Forecast and manage the resource requirement in project to reach objective in effective and efficient manner.
  • Effectively assign the resource to project based on their skill and experience.
  • Working with HR and delivery managers to fulfil the resource requirement in various projects.
  • Monitoring resource utlisation, workload and overtime hours.
  • Prepare and manage the resource budget based on scope of work and contract.
  • Supports engagement manager in the preparation of price calculations
  • Support to delivery manager by ensuring the proper resource availability and their allocation in various project.
  • Providing the project update on consistent basis to various stake holders regarding strategy adjustment and progress.
  • Develop and manage the detail of project schedule and work plan in SAP
  • Ensure the accuracy of Intercompany billing
  • Collaborates with local HR business partners and Sourcing Heads to optimize over-/under- utilization of employees and rebalancing of workload

 

Operational:

  • Supervising the resource master data in SAP (skillset, career level, etc.)
  • Supervising the set up and maintenance projects, work packages and responsibilities in SAP
  • Ensures resources are planned on client engagements timely and precise
  • Responsible for the intercompany billing process for resources
  • Provides reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Ability to understand the legal terms in contract, SOW’s and their implication.
  • Experience in working on resource planning software.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-9 years experience in resource management in global environment
  • Experienced in managerial accounting and service project cost controlling
  • Experience with implementation of resource management software is a plus
  • Reliable und trustful work relationship with multi-national manager abroad
  • Excellent English skills
