Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add procurement operations and customer service value to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner and provide operational procurement operations support from India for the APAC (SG, HK, JP and AU) region.

 

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Consultant to join the Procurement Operations and Client Service Desk team. We need a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Procurement Operations and P2P. 

 

 

Shift timings: 9 am- 6 pm (General shift)

 

 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first level support for Chain IQ clients, external procurement partners and third-party providers in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs, including enquiry response and resolution times.
  • Maintaining and documenting client enquiries and resolution through CIQ’s ticketing solution as per the service catalogue. Escalating to level 2 IT support, Procurement head or other stakeholders as required.
  • Maintaining knowledge management systems, client education material (e.g. how to guides) and operational process documents to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of process and client satisfaction.
  • Being responsible for day-to-day operational process management and support of relevant operational and P2P processes (and others as required) to ensure clients’ accurate and timely ordering and receipt of goods and services (e.g. help desk queries, PR/PO or Goods Receiving assistance and Invoice Reconciliation for blocked invoices).
  • Supporting optimization and use of defined procurement processes, platforms and channels through end user education, supporting the roll out and expanded use of our P2P platform (e.g. testing, end user training, education and change management activities, supplier set up/on boarding etc.).
  • Leading and supporting quality improvement initiatives in optimizing support processes or system enhancements.
  • Being fully aware of or support global and regional procurement and sourcing initiatives.

 

Requirements

 

  • Qualification:
  • University degree or industry experience equivalent.
  • Strong oral and written English (mandatory)

 

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement support, P2P or customer service-related functions.
  • Helpdesk experience including usage of incident management systems.
  • Practical experience in Ariba P2P platform and/or SAP MM Module.
  • Good problem-solving and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Exposure / some experience to fundamentals of sourcing process and contracts is a benefit.
