Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

 

We are seeking a dynamic, client-focused individual to join our US Corporate Services Sourcing team to be based in Jersey City NJ. Overall Corporate Services experience required with strength in facilities and real estate.  

 

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Corporate Services team. The Sourcing Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Corporate Services.

 

The individual will have experience in working with the main suppliers in the Americas and globally of Corporate Services.

 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Directly manage Corporate Services sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity levels, managing engagements in one or more of the following categories: Real Estate, Facilities, MRO, Construction and general Corporate Services.  
  • Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders to understand strategic direction, business requirements, objectives, and priorities across assigned categories; 
  • Understand business requirements of each deal, and shape deals and contracts to meet those requirements; 
  • Assess savings opportunities on all engagements, and work with clients to achieve optimal cost reductions/savings as appropriate; 
  • Develop and maintain key Supplier relationships in the above-named categories and stay current on their products, services, and competitors; 
  • Manage competitive bids and RFXs for sourcing engagements using automated tools, and lead the evaluation and selection process across a cross-functional team of stakeholders; 
  • Draft contracts based on clients’ standard templates, and customize deal-specific commercial terms/conditions as needed; 
  • Follow required processes and procedures related to supplier engagement, contract negotiation and contract execution to ensure compliance with clients’ legal, regulatory, business, and regional policies. 
  • Provide detailed project status (and associated Savings) reporting on all active and completed Sourcing deals, using required Chain IQ and client tools/platforms; 
  • Partner with global Chain IQ colleagues to ensure cross-functional coordination of engagements, supplier management, process implementation, and best practices. 
  • Provide mentorship for junior team members 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Corporate Service and Real Estate sourcing and procurement roles in one or more of the categories with demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major Services Suppliers; 
  • Ability to perform contract drafting and negotiations with limited additional legal support; 
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying savings and cost reduction opportunities in contract negotiations, and developing and leading negotiating strategies to achieve those savings; 
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts (i.e., supplier pricing models; contracting options and alternatives; sourcing tools and platforms; sourcing process, policies, and procedures); 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior clients/stakeholders; 
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide array of initiatives to tight deadlines 
  • Experience in working with market leading sourcing tools/systems would be a plus. 
  • Bachelors Degree preferred (Supply Chain concentration)

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for New York City Metro Area is $110,000 to $171,720, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, qualifications, skills, location and applicable employment laws.
