Role Overview
As US Team Lead for Professional Services, you will lead a high-performing team and drive continuous improvement across Consulting, Legal, and HR Services. You will be responsible for setting sourcing strategies, ensuring delivery against KPIs, and managing senior client relationships with impact. This role requires a strong consulting mindset, deep market insight, and proven stakeholder management skills. You will represent Chain IQ with executive-level stakeholders and drive category excellence by leading through influence, expertise, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Professional Services sourcing team, with responsibility for Consulting, Legal and HR categories.
• Act as a senior advisor to clients, translating business needs into effective sourcing and commercial strategies.
• Own client delivery of KPIs and service-level commitments such as cost reduction savings, quality standards etc.
• Guide and mentor team members, creating a culture of performance, resilience, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Legal, Finance, and business functions.
• Represent Chain IQ in high-level client meetings and external forums with professionalism and impact.
• Provide market insights, thought leadership, and innovation opportunities to clients.
• Collaborate across internal functions (analytics, operations, legal, finance) to ensure aligned and seamless delivery.

• Deep knowledge of relevant markets and trends within Consulting, HR, and Legal Services.
• Expertise in deal structuring, vendor management, and professional services sourcing.
• Solid understanding of contracts, with the ability to draft and review agreements with limited legal support.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, balancing multiple priorities to deliver results.
• Professional team player – committed, motivated, flexible, and resilient.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related fields.
• 8–12 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing or Consulting (ideally Big4 or top-tier advisory)
• Proven experience leading Professional Services categories (Consulting, Legal, HR) in a corporate or service-provider environment.
• Demonstrated track record of managing teams and delivering against KPIs in client-facing environments.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinker with strategic acumen and problem-solving skills.
• International exposure, with experience working across multiple geographies and cultures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing category strategies and driving transformation initiatives.
• Solid commercial acumen with the ability to model business cases, structure deals, and optimize total cost of ownership.
