Job Summary: We are a Procurement Business Outsourcing provider and seek a highly experienced Procurement Leader or Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will ensure the achievement of contractually agreed targets and the delivery of substantial savings, maintaining a robust savings pipeline across major EU locations. While the position will not manage direct reports, it requires a senior professional capable of strategic oversight and adept at engaging with C-level executives including CPO, CFO, and COO. We welcome candidates from the professional services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage and enhance service delivery standards to meet and exceed contractual targets with our global logistics clients.
- Foster strong relationships with senior client executives to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business goals.
- Act as the Procurement Business Partner for major EU locations, driving procurement excellence and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring that all services are delivered according to the agreed-upon standards.
- Develop and manage a savings pipeline, ensuring continuous improvement and cost reduction across all categories.
- Lead by influence, aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in consulting or service delivery within a global context, preferably in manufacturing, logistics or related industries.
- Excellent understanding of (indirect) Procurement.
- Proven track record of interacting and negotiating with C-level executives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and consulting skills.
- Ability to motivate cross-functional team to drive performance and transform organizations – digital and change advocate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of an additional language such as German, French, Italian or Dutch are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed across Europe or to Americas and APAC.
