Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Professional Services team. The Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within the Professional Services Category.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Operations, and Strategic Buying leadership to ensure effective use of sourcing capabilities across projects
Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, eAuctions, and market tenders, ensuring structured execution and compliance
Evaluate supplier proposals, perform bid analysis, and provide data-driven recommendations to support supplier selection
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, securing optimal outcomes in terms of pricing, specifications, and risk mitigation
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers, acting as a trusted advisor
Ensure adherence to client-specific sourcing processes, tools, and corporate standards
Deliver against defined KPIs, SLAs, and savings targets, with a strong focus on value creation
Conduct spend analysis and proactively identify cost optimization opportunities
Forecast, track, and report savings in line with client requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for additional support or projects
Support the development of junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Act as a role model and category point of contact, promoting best practices and high-quality delivery

Requirements

Minimum 4+ years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing, with a proven track record of delivering results
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
Solid analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into insights and drive decision-making
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Demonstrated focus on delivering savings and identifying continuous cost reduction opportunities
Very good understanding of end-to-end sourcing processes and best practices
Experience working with Source-to-Contract (S2C) tools
Proactive, delivery-focused team player, able to build credibility and work independently
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
