The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join the IT Tactical Sourcing team. The new team member needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within IT Category: SW application development, cybersecurity, cloud services, data management and HW (servers, devices).

Main responsibilities will include:

• handle sourcing requests for category in scope; working on a sourcing request suppose interaction in English with stakeholders and contract negotiation (commercial and legal aspects for example: price, terms and conditions, legal annexes)
• collaboration with Head of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying and Team Leads to ensure optimal use of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying capabilities
• establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders
• supporting market tenders and managing the evaluation across cross-functional teams to determine the selection of the suppliers
• supporting analysis of proposals and producing recommendations
• negotiating deals (of varying size and complexity) to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes
• drafting and reviewing contracts based on standard terms and conditions
• following internal policies, processes, and procedures
• identifying opportunities to drive improvements and contributes to their implementation
• adhering to the corporate standards, including using the defined sourcing tools and processes in delivery of sourcing initiatives according to the client requirements
• ensuring customer satisfaction, functional KPIs, SLAs and other performance objectives are met including savings targets
• ensuring accuracy of data and compliance with the given sourcing requirements (based on client methodology and requirements).
• ensuring proactive, timely engagement with clients and managing customer expectations with regard to project timelines and solution features
• ensuring proactivity for additional support/extra activities/projects

Requirements

• 3-5 years proven experience in sourcing/acquisition in a corporate environment with a good understanding of the challenges, processes and requirements of sourcing process
• very good fluency in English & German (written and verbal)
• experience in negotiations for the benefit of stakeholders
• experience with ERP system
