Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.
Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Consultant to join the Real Estate & Logistics team. The Consultant needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within the Real Estate & Logistics category.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Collaboration with Head of Sourcing, Sourcing :Operations and Tactical Buying and Team Leads to ensure optimal use of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying capabilities
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders- Organize and manage market tenders
- Evaluate suppliers proposals and perform bid analysis – provide input and recommendations for supplier selection;
- Negotiating deals to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes
- Negotiating with vendors for building positive, long-term relationships.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts with vendors based on standard terms and conditions
- Identifying opportunities to drive improvements and contributes to their implementation
- Adhering to the client’s corporate standards, including using the defined sourcing tools and processes in the delivery of sourcing initiatives according to the client requirements
- Ensuring the functional KPIs, SLAs and other performance objectives are met including savings targets
- Ensuring accuracy of data and compliance with the given sourcing requirements (based on client methodology and requirements)
- Performing spend analysis to proactively identify savings opportunities
- Forecasting and reporting savings
- Support and run RFx, eAuction – create and manage event in e-sourcing tool
- Ensuring proactive and timely engagement with clients
- Ensuring proactivity for additional support/extra activities/projects
- Supporting coaching and development of more junior colleagues
- Seen as a role model by colleagues in Chain IQ and clients
- Acting as category champion for the managed category
Requirements
- Proven successful track record in a similar role in Procurement or Sourcing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Focused to deliver savings and to constantly find cost reduction opportunities for the clients
- Excellent analytical skills and mindset
- Good problem-solving, relationship management, escalation management and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation
- Good understanding of sourcing processes and best practices
- Ready to interact with stakeholders from all organizational levels
- A delivery-focused sourcer and a team player who feels comfortable creating their own profile and credibility
- Previous experience in working with any Source to Contract tools
- Excellent English - written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
