Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.
Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Expert to join the Tactical Sourcing. The Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Sourcing field.
Main responsibilities will include:
- collaboration with Head of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying and Team Leads to ensure optimal use of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying capabilities.
- establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders.
- supporting market tenders and managing the evaluation across cross-functional teams to determine the selection of the suppliers.
- negotiating deals (of varying size and complexity) to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes.
- drafting contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
- adhering to the corporate standards, including using the defined sourcing tools and processes in delivery of sourcing initiatives according to the client requirements.
- ensuring functional KPIs, SLAs and other performance objectives are met including savings targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher).
- Proven experience in procurement/banking/contract management or review in a corporate environment with a good understanding of the challenges, processes and requirements of sourcing process.
- Very good fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
- Knowledge and application of relevant services models (e,g. co-sourcing, complete sourcing, on-demand, etc.) and understanding of the different types of outsourcing (BPO, KPO etc.).
- Experience with contracts and ability in contract drafting, with limited legal support.
- Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, often to tight deadlines, and deliver results.
- Professional team player - committed, motivated and flexible.
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office suite.
