Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner. 

Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Tactical Sourcing Team. The Tactical Sourcer needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Professional Services

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations, Tactical Buying, and Team Leads to ensure optimal use of Sourcing, Sourcing Operations, and Tactical Buying capabilities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal, client, and supplier stakeholders.
• Organize and manage market tenders.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and perform bid analysis, providing input and recommendations for supplier selection.
• Negotiate deals to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance, and contractual outcomes.
• Negotiate with vendors to build positive, long-term relationships.
• Draft and negotiate contracts with vendors based on standard terms and conditions.
• Identify opportunities to drive improvements and contribute to their implementation.
• Adhere to the client’s corporate standards, including using defined sourcing tools and processes in delivering sourcing initiatives according to client requirements.
• Ensure that functional KPIs, SLAs, and other performance objectives are met, including savings targets.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with the given sourcing requirements (based on client methodology and expectations).
• Perform spend analysis to proactively identify savings opportunities.
• Forecast and report savings.
• Support and run RFx and eAuction events, creating and managing events in the e-sourcing tool.
• Ensure proactive and timely engagement with clients.
• Demonstrate proactivity in offering additional support or participating in extra activities and projects.
• Support coaching and development of more junior colleagues.
• Serve as a role model to colleagues within Chain IQ and for clients.
• Act as a category champion for the managed category.

Requirements

• Proven successful track record in a similar role.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the related sourcing category.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Focused on delivering savings and constantly identifying cost reduction opportunities for clients.
• Exceptional analytical skills and mindset.
• Strong problem-solving, relationship management, escalation management, and influencing skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Solid understanding of sourcing processes and best practices.
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• A delivery-focused sourcer and a team player who is confident in creating their own profile and credibility.
• Previous experience working with Source-to-Contract tools such as SAP, Ariba, Ivalua, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
