Supplier Performance Management Solution Implementation and Maintenance Expert

Job Summary  

The primary role of the Supplier Performance Management Solution Implementation and Maintenance Lead will be to help project manage and design the operating model and related support tools and system solution as a key part of the implementation program team. You will then maintain the integrity of the solution and manage the on-boarding of Chain IQ’s clients to the service offering, supporting the ongoing application of the operating model and system solution to run the service offering for those clients. You will be an ambassador and subject matter expert on the Supplier Performance Management solution across Chain IQ.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery Support and working closely with the Solution Owner for Supplier Performance Management you will act as an ambassador and subject matter expert for the service offering    
  • As part of the Supplier Performance Management program team help tailor and document the Framework, Operating model and related templates, surveys and scorecards of the offering
  • In conjunction with the Solution Owner develop sales and training materials and run training sessions to ensure consistent understanding of the solution across Chain IQ  
  • Be the primary point of contact in day to day interactions with the selected Supplier of the technical solution for Supplier Performance Management   
  • Own the ongoing maintenance of the technical solution on behalf of the Solution owner and implement the change improvements to the overall program 
  • Help onboard Chain IQ own Suppliers for Supplier Performance Management and oversee Chain IQ’s own Supplier Performance Management program
  • As client’s adopt the service offering support the on-boarding and implementation of the Supplier Performance Management solution for those clients
  • Initially working with and guiding one local resource to support the development of the solution and ongoing maintenance   
  • As the client portfolio grows, work closely with the Head of Service Delivery to build and coordinate a team to support the individual client onboarding, implementation and ongoing management to the Supplier Performance Management solution working closely with Chain IQ client engagement managers and category managers

 

 Your profile:

  • Understanding of the front to back Sourcing and Vendor Management process and the role of Supplier Performance Management in that ecosystem  
  • Insight into the infrastructure and technical solutions available to support Supplier Performance Management in the market
  • Insight into Supplier Performance and Supplier Management best practices, Key performance Indicators and Scorecards     
  • Experience in establishing and managing Suppliers and/ or a Supplier Performance Management program  
  • Experience in being the day to day primary point contact for managing a technology provider
  • Proficient in English (German a benefit but not essential)  
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft tools
  • Innovative and Resourceful - Draws from a large pool of diverse resources or information
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to lead problem solving activities
  • Effective resource management and project management skills/capabilities
  • Strong forecasting, negotiations, and contract management skills
  • Ability to indirectly influence and lead cross-BU and/or cross-functional teams, including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) and/or with outside professionals
