Introduction: Join our forward-thinking procurement team in the vibrant city of Hamburg! We are looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Strategic Sourcer, Consultant or Lawyer specializing in Professional Services. This role is suited for professionals who have thrived in professional services sourcing environments, or worked in consulting roles, or legal positions and have a deep understanding of the professional services industry and supply market. If you possess a keen commercial acumen, a consultative mindset, and the ability to negotiate and structure complex deals with senior stakeholders (up to C-level), this position offers the opportunity to significantly impact our sourcing strategies and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for professional services, adapting to a diverse range of business needs and service requirements.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers, ensuring competitive terms and compliance with our strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with consultancy firms, legal experts, and internal stakeholders to optimize service offerings and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
• Leverage your expertise to influence and refine procurement processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness in service engagements.
• Evaluate and select service providers based on rigorous criteria for quality, reliability, and innovation.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key consultancy and legal partners, ensuring a robust network of professional services that support our operational needs.

Requirements:

• Proven background in professional services, whether in sourcing, consulting, or legal roles, with experience in firms like the Big 4 or similar esteemed organizations.
• Strong knowlege of German language
• Strong commercial acumen and expertise in negotiating and structuring complex deals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with the consulting industry's standards and practices, with a keen insight into how best to leverage these in a sourcing context.
• Legal professionals should have a robust understanding of commercial negotiations.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a continuous interest in learning and applying new methodologies and technologies in professional services procurement.
