It is an exciting time at Chain IQ and our team in Bucharest are looking for a Sourcing Operations Support Consultant in Outsourcing and Offshoring category.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Sourcing Operations Support Consultant role is to deliver value-added sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure seamless sourcing operations.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Sourcing Operations Support Consultant to join the Sourcing Support Department. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience in sourcing.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Building positive, long-term relationships with the client and supplier stakeholders
• Supplier evaluation and bid analysis – providing input and recommendations
• Adhering to the client’s corporate standards, including using the defined sourcing tools and processes in the delivery of sourcing initiatives
• Supporting the Strategic Sourcers and the Sourcing organization with tracking and recording sourcing initiatives and contracts in the sourcing and contracting tools
• Ensuring functional KPIs, SLAs, and other performance objectives are met
• Supporting and running RFx and eAuction processes – creating and managing events in the e-sourcing tool
• Identifying ways to improve business-as-usual processes, including the development of standard templates and operating procedures
• Providing client-specific onboarding training
• Coaching and mentoring new joiners
• Acting as a deputy for the Line Manager during absences
• Assisting sourcers with queries related to the contracting process
• Supporting multi-category sourcing initiatives
• Enhancing company efficiency by implementing new ways of working and finding solutions to improve existing processes

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with the following skills:

• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Team player with a proactive mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience in sourcing or procurement
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Source-to-Contract tools (SAP, Ariba, Ivalua, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
