Role Purpose 

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.  

In the Sourcing Excellence team you will play a pivotal role in driving Sourcing Excellence initiatives and projects within Romania and Globally, as part of the Global Sourcing Excellence Organization. You will be responsible for maintaining a best-in-class sourcing practice by applying advanced sourcing processes, techniques, tools, and practices. 

The ideal candidate must posses strong excel and reporting acumen and leadership qualities to act as a functional deputy for the Head of Sourcing Excellence in Romania. 

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Surcing Excellence team in Romania. The Sourcing Excellence Lead needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience for the following attributes: 

• Project Management with a strong Focus on Processes and Tools. Strong analytical skills with focus on Excel, and reporting capabilities and strategic thinking abilities. 

• The application of AI-driven tools to enhance sourcing and procurement processes. 

 Main responsibilities will include: 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Sourcing Excellence on strategic decisions, organizational priorities, and operational challenges. 

• Analyze data and trends to provide insights, support decision-making, and develop action plans. 

• Participate in meetings, track key performance metrics, and ensure follow-up on critical initiatives. 

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 

• Establish project scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and KPIs for measuring project success. 

• Facilitate regular progress reviews, identify roadblocks, and coordinate resources to maintain project momentum. 

• Identify areas for process optimization, standardization, and improved workflow across various departments. 

• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. 

• Oversee the creation and management of dashboards, reports, and other tools for monitoring performance and accountability. 

• Act as a liaison between the COO and internal teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across departments. 

• Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Represent the COO in meetings as required, capturing key takeaways and action items.

Requirements:

Proven Experience and Expertise: 

• Experience in Project Management with a strong Focus on Processes and Tools. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities. 

• Expertise in prompt engineering and the application of AI-driven tools to enhance sourcing and procurement processes. 

Leadership and Collaboration Skills: 

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly within supply chain and procurement. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills especially in English  and German

• Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset. 
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs.
