Project Management Transition & Transformation - Expert

 

Purpose of the position:

As a Project Manager, your duties will include evaluating organizational needs and recommending suitable technical or non-technical solutions. You may also be required to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of the solutions.

To ensure success, a Project Manager should possess an exceptional track record in evaluating organizational needs and pioneering the development of technical solutions & procedures/process flows. Outstanding Project Manager improve organizational efficiency by applying their expert knowledge to resolve complex challenges.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead transition and transformation projects and programmes working as a pivotal cross functional team member
  • Create and manage project plan and timelines to ensure successful completion and handover to “run” organization
  • Collect and analyse information to determine cost, timing, and resource requirements ensuring accurate documentation (e.g. process maps, operating procedures) 
  • Applying subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes.
  • Consulting across business operations, providing mentorship, and contributing with specialized knowledge.
  • Recommending and providing input to solutions for determining software development requirements / change requests.
  • Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions, process maps.
  • Testing alongside business owners and determining whether the implemented solutions meet defined requirements.
  • Generating and verifying reference information, including user guides, training manuals, and system requirements.
  • Coordinate change management, communications, and training
  • Develop and manage internal and client relationships and deliver exemplary client service at all times
  • Follow Chain IQ transition methodology, templates, and standards imputing into their continual improvement and refinement
  • Support new business development and client management as required, including but not limited to client solution design and sales support as required
  • Requirement to travel internationally (Assumption 10-20% per annum on average)
  • Recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects in an advanced manner.
  • Exceptionally lead and mentor the internal and external clients on introducing and implementing the solutions.

 

Requirements:

Technical:

  • University graduate
  • Ideally certified in a structured project management methodology and/or certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green belt or higher) or TQM
  • Minimum of 5+ years of project management and business analysis
  • Previous procurement experience / knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Solid understanding of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay processes and systems
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results for multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, team player and ability to work under pressure in a flexible manner
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
