Marketplace Management - Senior Consultant

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and team player person, highly motivated professional, passionate of his/her work, willing to act and to achieve results to join our team as a Market Place Management / Catalogue Senior Consultant

Your main responsibilities will include:

Works closely with the Catalogue Manager and Catalog Team, suppliers and internal teams on a continuous basis to setup and perform maintenance activities for assigned catalogues. Plays a critical role in ensuring that accurate catalogue content information is developed, entered and kept up to date in the catalogue platform:

  • Support with the initial catalogue setup leveraging pre-agreed lists of catalogue items and prices;
  • Support with supplier onboarding in the e-commerce platform, as needed;
  • Manage the catalogue maintenance activities according to agreed client SLA and KPIs;
  • Identifying possible process improvements and driving their implementation;
  • Identify relevant contact persons responsible for eCommerce management at potential sellers and promote their onboarding to the public and private marketplaces managed by Chain IQ
  • Interacting and coordinating with vendors to help ensure a smooth data flow
  • Serve as internal subject management expert, and liaison to the eCommerce
  • Pull regular usage reports from the platform in order to proactively identify opportunities for catalogue content improvement;
  • Provide input needed for regular business reviews with clients and business stakeholders including reporting and analytics (usage, trends, savings, etc.);
  • Review & approve catalogue updates for price & items changes and escalate to Sourcing team for significant increases;
  • Regular catalogue content review according to agreed client SLA and KPIs;
  • Prepare material for regular business reviews with clients and business stakeholders including reporting and analytics (usage, trends, savings, identify upselling opportunities) and participate, as needed;
  • Manage and maintain product classifications, hierarchies, and taxonomies across all product lines utilizing internal processes and accepted industry practices
  • Manage relationship with supplier to ensure content is relevant and up to date (introduction of new items, management of end of life items, etc);
  • provide input for technical performance reviews of catalogue hosting tools;
  • Support the Catalogue Manager with periodical benchmarking efforts to ensure competitive prices;
  • Support with client service desk queries (technical or content related);
  • Recommend improvements of catalogue content management based on day to day activities;
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices with the team by email, shadowing sessions, workshops. Training and mentoring other Associates to ensure a fast ramp;
  • Keep up to date with the market trends and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation as required.
  • Handle the day-to-day volumes of the assigned tasks and ensuring quality standards;

 

Your profile:

  • University graduate with  minimum 10 year relevant professional experience and minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar function and proven track record;
  • Good organizational skills with high attention to details;
  • Ability to provide quality deliverables under the predefined deadlines;
  • Demonstrating expertise in handling end-to-end processes and related tools in order to achieve business goals;
  • Passion to acquire the required information from any source (from online sources or from on ground activities)
  • Able to undertake complex tasks of unique nature within global projects;
  • Strong negotiation skills and influencing skills;
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with any hierarchical/managerial level
  • Ability to work under pressure and with high flexibility;
  • Strong analytical and audit capabilities;
  • Working knowledge of tactical sourcing needed for price benchmarking;
  • Ability to drive performance and continuous improvement;
  • Expertise in MS Office package;
  • Familiar with most common e-commerce platforms and apps. Tradeshift Buy platform experience is a plus
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, other language capability considered a plus
  • Experience in sales roles could be a plus
