Title: IT Application & Infrastructure Support
Bucharest, RO
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, effective response times and high-quality technical application support to general and sometimes complex support issues via telephone, email, and remote control;
- Assist the technology team within the larger Chain IQ organization, including providing on site assistance and support colleagues in IT-related matters on-site and remote, regionally, and globally;
- Undertaking small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT service operations manager and supporting in rolling out new projects and services;
- Setup, configure and provide maintenance to corporate devices, including Windows and Mac desktop/laptops, iPhones/Android/iPad devices and related hardware/software;
- Assist in Romanian staff on-boarding and off-boarding, including machine distribution, collation, imaging, and account creation/configuration, as well as account provisioning and deprovisioning;
- Provide training to new hires and staff on new hardware and software when required;
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair corporate devices, including computer peripherals and mobile devices;
- Understand policies and apply them to come up with a solution that meets users’ needs and falls within the company policy;
- Assist other IT support staff with operational procedures and troubleshooting issues;
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes managed by the IT team, for both end-users and other IT staff;
