Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.
Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Manager to join the Reporting and Analytics team. The Reporting and Analytics Manager needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within BI. This person will lead a team that is a central support function within the BI practice, working closely with the Business Analysts and Data Science teams, internal business partners and clients, to perform raw data analysis, interpretation, visualization and presentation, turning data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Leads and organizes the BI Operations team and supports workstream projects in the implementation and use of new BI software tools and systems
- Accountable for BI Operations team performance and service delivery, including:
- ‘on demand’ and project-based analytical support
- scheduled reporting
- data governance
- data analysis and data interpretation
- data visualization and presentation
- continuous improvement / automation / optimization through change management initiatives
- Provides input to business requirements for the design of client solutions
- Participates in workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions
- Work closely with Data Applications team to ensure that reporting, analytics and master data management requirements and functionality are incorporated in technology roadmaps
- Ensures functional KPIs, SLAs, OLAs and other performance objectives are met
- Provides guidance, training, and assistance to the core BI functions, as well as internal and external clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master degree / ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification
- Typically requires 10 + years of experience / qualifications in any analytical discipline, preferably in data analysis, interpretation and visualization
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office suite
- Power BI and/or Power Query knowledge is a must
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details
- Knowledge of the Procurement / Procurement BPO industry and multiple business functional areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence a wide range of different stakeholders and peers with sound, clear arguments
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and with high flexibility
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
