Role purpose:
As a Contract Compliance & Value Recovery - Associate Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to conduct meticulous financial audits and ensure adherence to contractual agreements. Your role will play a crucial part in identifying potential value recovery opportunities and optimizing financial processes for our clients. We are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and highly motivated professional who can collaborate effectively within a team and demonstrate a passion for delivering accurate results.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head of Enabling Services and Contract Compliance and Value Recovery Team Lead to work with onshore functions to ensure optimal use of Bucharest-based Contract Compliance & Value Recovery systems and capabilities.
- Working closely with Business Development and Category specialists to promote capability and develop robust opportunity pipeline.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Reconciling transactions by comparing and correcting data and maintaining databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data
- Managing and delivering individual recovery projects or project components from project initiation through to report issuance and actual recovery collection ensuring relevant stakeholders are appropriately engaged and consulted.
- Ensure that any control gaps or process optimization opportunities identified through audits are appropriately recorded and pursued.
- Complete detailed analysis and data management to assist in value recovery identification.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure that all recoveries are billed to the client in line with contractual agreement and ensures receivable is recovered.
- In conjunction with the technology team, ensure that related technology requirements and functionality (e.g., automation or semi-automation solutions) are incorporated in technology roadmaps.
- Ensuring functional KPIs, SLAs, OLAs and other performance objectives are met.
- Any other tasks received from the direct manager or head of department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar function with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with high flexibility.
- A delivery-focused approach with excellent project management skills.
- Strong analytical and audit capabilities, typically gained through experience in a finance function.
- Ability to manage and coordinate diverse analytical activities on a project basis to drive optimal outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving, relationship management, escalation management, and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Drive for performance and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
