Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to identify opportunities for value recovery as the primary focus, while also ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and optimizing financial processes.

 

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Consultant to join the Contract Compliance and Value Recovery Team.The Consultant needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within Finance/Auditing

 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Contract Compliance & Value Recovery Team Lead by collaborating with onshore functions to maximize the use of Bucharest-based systems and capabilities.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Category specialists to promote capabilities and build a robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries, comparing system reports to balances, and maintaining accurate databases through data entry, verification, and backups.
  • Manage and deliver individual recovery projects or components from initiation to report issuance and recovery collection, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged.
  • Record and pursue control gaps or process optimization opportunities identified through audits.
  • Perform detailed analysis and manage data to support value recovery identification.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all recoveries are billed to the client per contractual agreements and receivables are collected.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure technology requirements and functionality (e.g., automation solutions) are included in technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor and ensure functional KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, and other performance objectives are met.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager or head of department.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and manipulating large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to work effectively under pressure.
  • A delivery-focused mindset with excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and auditing expertise, typically developed through experience in a finance-related function.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate diverse analytical activities on a project basis to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving, relationship management, escalation handling, and influencing, with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • A drive for performance excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
