Role Purpose:

To assure accurate maintenance and execution of existing Client processes, analyze impact of changes, and recommend adjustments to workflows, schedules, or other processes, as needed. Update the documentation and train the sourcers on its impact.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize Chain IQ’s standard service catalogue for the source to contract business processes according to the Client process framework in collaboration with the business and peer functions.
  • Create business process designs and flows, facilitate process changes in collaboration with the business source to contract (S2C) Solution and system owners based on change requests (from clients or internal)
  • Create and maintain S2C business process documentation (SOP's and Work Instructions and other standards) 
  • Support the definitions of business requirements for IT systems relevant for the execution of Chain IQ’s business processes
  • Propose continuous improvement of business processes in collaboration with the business and Internal Controls Team
  • Manage operational change requests (OCR) and take ownership of the corresponding processes
  • Participate and act as process and system expert in user acceptance testings of the Clients process and system Change request and advise on operational issues for the CIQ users.
  • Assure accurate update of all materials as a basis of education of the CIQ users for managing and operating business processes.
    As direct contact to the Client, support reengineering activities with the aim to continuously simplify, standardize and automate the standard processes for easier usage for the users.
  • Support the Chain IQ functions with updated and easy to use templates for the standard processes
  • Maintain End-to-End SharePoint for Business Processes and ensure the availability of needed documents for the operations

Requirements:

  • 5 years + experience in a similar role or environment
  • A 'go-getter' with exceptional problem-solving skills. ·
  • Ability to understand the business context and create process designs for the business
  • Experience in writing and updating of SOPs, Operational Change Requests and Work Instructions
  • Demonstrable experience in project/process management
  • Customer centric focus while driving process simplification, standardization and automation.
  • Experience in a Business Change environment or a business undergoing significant change.
  • Competency in Business Process Mapping using tools like MS Visio.
  • Strong customer focus and influential skills to drive customer satisfaction
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Business Change Management qualifications preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in running complex projects at a Global scale involving multiple stakeholders is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft packages skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proactive - can flag and assist in resolving project issues (where appropriate)
  • Is driven to complete tasks and can see the wider picture to assist with the successful delivery of the project / task
  • Professional and clear communication skills
  • Keeps the overview in hectic times and can react quickly to changes
  • Has a collaborative and supportive attitude with stakeholders
