Title:  Sourcing IT

Role Purpose

As a Strategic Sourcer IT, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives across a broad range of IT categories for multinational clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve commercial value, manage risk, and optimize supplier relationships. The role requires independent management of multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with senior stakeholders. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes. This position plays a key role in delivering measurable business impact for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across multiple IT categories and clients.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that maximize commercial value and mitigate risk.
• Manage competitive RFx processes using digital sourcing tools.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost modeling to support sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate commercial, contractual, and service terms with suppliers.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and deliver measurable savings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and suppliers.
• Assess supplier capabilities and support vendor selection decisions.
• Monitor market trends, licensing models, and technology developments impacting sourcing strategies.
• Support knowledge sharing, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience.
• Strong experience in one or more IT categories such as Software, Cloud, Infrastructure, Telecom, Hardware, or IT Services.
• Proven track record negotiating complex and high-value IT contracts.
• Knowledge of software licensing, cloud commercial models, and IT outsourcing agreements.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in an international environment.
• Familiarity with e-sourcing platforms and procurement technologies.
• Business fluency in English and German.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
